AlfaExchange is an information project about currency exchange in Thailand. We gather in one place the current baht rate, explain where it is best to exchange money in each city, and recommend trusted licensed exchangers. The project is made by people who live in Thailand themselves and exchange money here constantly, so our advice is practical, not rewritten from the internet.
A tourist often loses money on an exchange simply because they do not know the local nuances: where the worst rate is, how large and small banknotes are counted, and why airport exchangers and Telegram chats are risky. We explain this in plain language and help you choose a safe option. If needed, we will point you to a trusted exchanger licensed by the Bank of Thailand, where you can exchange money at a good rate with delivery.
